CROWNS

DENTURES

Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth that can be removed and put back into your mouth. Depending on the individualized patient, they may receive a full or partial set of dentures. Dentures may never feel perfectly comfortable, but it is much better than the alternative of not having any teeth. Your dentures should also be cared for as if they were real teeth.

Dental implants have a wide array of uses in dentistry. An implant is a titanium post that is placed into the jaw and the restoring dentist can then use it to attach crown, bridges, and dentures. There are times when a tooth cannot be saved. Wisdom teeth extractions are a fairly common procedure. Based on the preference of the doctor &/or the patient, a local anesthetic can be used to numb the area where the tooth will be extracted. Other patients might prefer to be sedated. If a tooth is significantly impacted, we will refer the patient to an oral surgeon.
